Review of PowerSchool’s Pledge Commitments

We have been reviewing the press reports of the PowerSchool data breach and potential violations of the company’s Student Privacy Pledge commitments, with particular attention to the commitment to maintain a comprehensive security plan. We have reached out to the company and have temporarily changed their Pledge status to “under review” pending a response from the company. A final decision about the company’s Pledge status is expected within 30 days.
